Day Three

Everyone is doing great. We are catching our breaths and preparing for Hannah's litter which is due by the 9th! I am super proud of how well Daisy is doing with her 5 puppies. Her first litter was just 2 and the second was 3... I really hope this is as big as it gets though! Below are some group shots from tonight. :)

On this bottom page going from the bottom left counter clockwise - Brittany, Bob, Bill, Byron, and the one whose head is on Byron's tummy is Boyd. Brittany, Bill, and Boyd are going to look more like Max and BuddyBoo from our first litter while Bob and Byron appear to look like Zoe and Bear from our last litter. There isn't an ugly one in the bunch! If interested in adopting one of my babies feel free to like my facebook page "Taylor's Shih Tzu World" and/or add me as a friend on FB. If you get one of my babies I consider you part of my family and want to keep touch through out the life of my dogs. LOL I am even planning a reunion for all the parents and their pups in the coming year at the dog park that will be opening here in Alabaster. If you have a Shih Tzu you have known unconditional love.

Puppylooza 2012 Part 1

Daisy had her babies late last night and into the wee hours of the morning. I am so pooped but absolutely thrilled with the five babies we have. I have pictures below. I am posting in the order of birth w/ a picture of Daisy in labor first because she was a trooper! The puppy order goes as follows: Bob, Brittany, Byron, Bill, and Boyd. All wiggling around today like they should be! I will update photos as I can usually one post per week. I keep our puppies until they are at least 8 weeks old to make sure they aren't weaned to soon in order to help boost their immune systems. It is so important to have the time with your new puppy while they are growing. They are bred for companionship and will give you unconditional love so please make sure you are ready to put in the time needed to make your new baby happy and content.
*Please note pups come w/ info pack, bill of sale, and I complete transferring and registering the puppy in your name via AKC. Feel free to contact me if you are interested or have any questions for me. 205/504-0116

Remember these are right after they were born. You will be amazed as we progress through the weeks at how much each one changes! I am so proud of my babies and hope to find them all wonderful homes where they will be spoiled for life! My policy is that if ever when ever a puppy parent can no longer care for their pup I ask please bring him/her back to me. I never want my babies to end up at a rescue site or worse! They always have a place with me. Lastly but definitely not the least is that I offer lifetime puppy-sitting. If you are going on vacation bring your fur baby to our home and we will keep him/her at no cost. I simply feel that strongly about the negative impact of boarding.

Miss Daisy Morrison

Birth Date: 01/15/2010 Gold and white Sire: Emmitt Smith's Catch 22 red with black mask DNA# v451943
Dam: McDowell's Watermelon Margarita gold and white

Daisy is our sunshine sweetheart. Looking back 3 generations on her you see gold and white, black masks, red, and black and white. So she like Jude is full of varieties. I like this in my dogs because variety helps reduce chances for genetic issues. I don't breed recessive to recessive because you will find more abnormalities pop up and that is not what I want. I love the variety of colors I am getting from Daisy and Jude and cannot wait to see what our litter due this weekend will hold. I know they will be wonderful because they come from good stock.

History of Jude

Born 10/19/2009 Saint Jude Morrison (gold and white with black mask
Sire - Goldilocks Willie Wonka (silver and white akc DNA # v388751)
Dam - Bee's Angel Baby (brindle with black mask)

Jude's heritage holds a variety of colors which is why his puppies are all different. It is like a box of chocolates getting to see what we get with each puppy born. Jude is our laid back care taker dog. He tends to his ladies and to us people family members as well. His favorite thing to do is curl up against you on his back with his feet in the air. :)

Incoming!

We are days away from Daisy having her next litter. I think she will be having 3 or 4 this time around. I am so excited! Every litter is different and a joy to meet and watch grow. Hannah is definitely looking pregnant too and is due February 10th. I am going to have a ball taking photos of the two litters before they find their forever homes. I have no idea how many Hannah will have since this is her first litter. Her belly is large and she is acting the part of an expectant mother. We will just have to continue waiting for a bit more! Daisy is due January 29th. YAY! Here are some recents shots of my fur babies. :)
Notice that the entire couch is available and the three stooges opt to pile up together. LOL

Stork News!

Alright! We are looking to have TWO litters being born in 2012. Daisy is due around January 27th and Hannah is due around February 10th. So exciting to have another litter from Daisy and I am over the moon excited to see Hannah's first litter. They are all going to be beautiful. I am really curious to see what the babies Jude and Hannah produce. She is almost solid black and he is white and silver. So pretty! I know every puppy that Daisy and Jude have together looks completely unique and they have a great variety of colors. Again so pretty! I will post pregger pictures of my sweet girls as they start waddling about.
